The principal conditions of the progressive preliminary carbonation of the sugar-beet juice

Abstract: Two principal conditions are necessary in progressive preliminary carbonation: (1) the optimum quantity of added lime and (2) the speed at which lime is added. For (1) 6 different lab. methods are used and for (2) although not necessary a lab. test by using a microfilter can be carried out.
