Abstract: The synthesis of ψ-corydaldine and N-homoveratryl-3-methylglutarimide from 3-methylglutaric acid, β-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)propionazide, and homoveratrylamine is described and the oxidation products of these compds. are identified.
