Abstract: H₃PO₃ in the MeOH soln. behaves as a monobasic acid. From the cond. of these solns., the mobility of the dihydrophosphite anion in MeOH lH₂PO₃^- = 43.0, and the dissocn. const. of H₃PO₃ in MeOH k₁ = 3.30.10^-5 was calcd.
