Abstract: In this paper are given the results of studies of properties of ion exchanger membranes carried out using radioactive indicator 25Zn. The following conclusions derive from these results for radiometric titrations or methods of concentration dependent distribution. Before being analytically used it is necessary to leave the membranes soak in deionized water. For quantitativeness and rate of sorption it is advantageous in analyses to make use of electrolyte (e. g. NaCl). In choosing the buffer solution it is necessary  to take into account the properties of anion buffer component and that not only from the point of view of the course of titration proper but also from the point of view of its exchangeable ability on ion exchanger membrane. There is no substantial difference in the rate of ion exchange in dependence on temperature. The dependence of ion exchange degree on temperature is, however, remarkable. The best ion exchange degree was obtained at 20 °C, which is almost equal to the sorption ability of the membrane at 80 °C. A rise in temperature especially in the presence of electrolyte has no significance from the viewpoint of radiocomplexometric titrations. To plot the titration (calibrating) curve, it is enough to precisely keep the time of contact of the membrane with the solution. The correctness of the titration result is thereby assured.
