Abstract: In the present work the changes of the analytical curves parameters are followed for AI, Ca, Fe, and Si in MgO-matrix. Cobalt was used as a reference element. The influence of the pulse number reduction and the electrode polarity changes on some parameters of analytical curves is discussed. The probable explanations of the observed changes are presented.
