Abstract: A new procedure, designated as dynamic liquidometry, enables more rapid and simpler plotting of soly. diagrams. Contrary to the usual methods, this method starts with an unsatd. soln. of known compn. and by gradual evapn. of the solvent under reduced pressure, a variety of mixts. is formed, the figurative points of which are situated on the section passing through the figurative points of the solvent in the compn. diagram. The soly. diagrams may be plotted by using plots of a suitable property of the liq, phase vs. the mixt. compn. The method was tested in the crystn. field of the KNO3-KCl-H2O system at 25° by n measurements.
