Vapor pressure measurements for binary fused mixtures of alkaline earth and alkali metal chlorides

Abstract: The Knudsen effusion method was used to measure the vapor pressure of molten NaCl, KCl, RbCl, CaCl₂, SrCl₂, and BaCl₂. The enthalpies of vaporization were detd. The vapor pressure was detd. of the following molten binary mixts.:SrCl₂-NaCl, SrCl₂-KCl, CaCl₂-KCl, BaCl₂-NaCl, BaCl₂-KCl, CaCl₂-RbCl, SrCl₂-RbCl, and BaCl₂-RbCl.
