Abstract: Valence orbital ionization potentials (VOIP) were systematically detd. for atoms and ions with the electron configurations K(2)L(8)M(18)4s24p64dα5sβ5pγ . For the approxn. of the dependence of VOIP on the electron configuration and at. no., T. Anno and Y. Sakai (1970, 1972) formulas having variables m, n, and Z were used.
