Photochemistry of heterocycles. 23. Photophysical properties of substituted condensed isoxazolines

Abstract: Photophysical measurements of phenyl-, cyano-, and methoxycarbonyl-substituted condensed isoxazolines aimed at learning the properties of triplet states by quenching experiments with selected sensitizers and kinetics measurements of the quenching process are described. Phosphorescence spectra of some isoxazolines were measured (ET = 307—315kJ  mol-1) and lifetimes (τT= 2—5μs) of probably nN - π*triplet states determined.
