Abstract: The influence of temperature, vanadium concentration, degree of solu­tion acidification, and reaction time on composition of the solid products arising from the systems LiV03—HN03—H20 and Mg(V03)2—HN03—H20 was investigated. The compounds LiHV6016 xH20 (x=5.5—6), MgV6016 9H20, and Mg(HV6016)2 * H20 (JC = 16—17) were prepared under defined conditions.
