Abstract: A simple and highly sensitive flow injection–chemiluminescence (FI–CL) method was developed for the determination of cartap hydrochloride (CPH) in environmental water samples and commercial pesticide formulations. The method is based on the catalytic enhancement of the diperiodatoargentate(III)–sulfuric acid (DPA–H2SO4) chemiluminescence system by CPH, producing a sharp transient emission suitable for on-line detection. Optimization of experimental parameters significantly improved the signal intensity, sensitivity, and analytical throughput, allowing direct analysis without extensive extraction or derivatization. The proposed FI–CL method demonstrated high precision, excellent recovery, and strong agreement with results obtained from a validated HPLC–UV method. Owing to its simplicity, low reagent consumption, and rapid response, the method provides a cost-effective and environmentally friendly analytical tool for routine monitoring of cartap hydrochloride in environmental and industrial samples.
